Distribution
STATUS: Not a common species. Represented by many sunspecies of which at least five occur in Papua Indonesia.
PAPUA LOCALITIES: ssp. micale: Kaimana; ssp. novaeguianae: Sorong (?), Teba; ssp. selymbria: Waigeo Island; ssp. jona: Japen Island, Numfor Island, Mioswaar Island; ssp. bosnika: Biak Island. Details in gazetteer.
EXTERNAL DISTRIBUTION: Papua New Guinea.
